Great product at an extremely affordable price Oct 18, 2011
This is an awesome product not just for it's price but because it's as effective as medical grade age fighting/wrinkle erasing products. I don't recommend using this alone since it is very lightweight and not very moisturizing for people with dry skin like me. Instead, use it at night in conjunction with with your skin care (toner, eye cream, and night cream). When I use it, I notice an immediate difference in the morning because I wake up to glowing, clear, and smooth skin. I have sensitive skin prone to eczema so I sometimes dilute it with a cream and alternate using it on every other night.
FYI: Currently I use dermatologist sold products such as Neocutis Lumiere eye cream and Vivate serum and night cream. Before that I happily used Shiseido Bioperformance and other high end department store brands (Le Mer and Cle de Peau). I have also used prescriptions like Retin-A and having experience it, this is the real deal. Having dished out oodles of money on beauty, I LOVE LOVE that this product is a utter bargain.

My new find... Sep 07, 2011
By Doris V. Toles
I'm really glad that I decided to try Retinol products. I really do like purchasing them for Amazon.com.
Watts Beauty Retinol Face Cream 150,000 IU per oz. has lightened and evened out my skin complexion
so well that my friends are taking notice. I also use Skincare L&L Cosmetics Retinol day and night cream.
I am a African American baby-boomer woman. I have always taken care of my skin. but recent I have
discovered better products to use. Thank you Amazon for carrying them.
I recommend this Retinol cream for improving your skin and getting away with using less makeup.

Great stuff Jul 27, 2011
Very happy with this lotion! Only using it at night and wake up with really smooth skin and pores look smaller. I have been using it for about a 2 weeks and feel that skins overall texture and appearance has improved. I wish I could use it during the day too, but worried about the sun sensitivity from the Retinol (although, I'm not really sure how much 150000iu of retinol is, since most labels identify it as a %). Overall, very please and will buy again!

Best Cream Ever! Jul 08, 2012
By Techno Fashion Girl
I have problems with adult acne and hyper pigmentation and have tried EVERYTHING. I happened to stumble upon Watt's Retinol Face Cream and decided to try it after all the great reviews. I have been using this cream for about a year now and it REALLY WORKS. My skin is smoother and more uniform, and the fine lines around my eyes are gone. Don't waste your time on expensive face creams. This stuff is awesome. I use it on my hands and neck as well.

Good, mild retinol product Apr 14, 2012
I normally use a much stronger (and much, much more expensive)4% retinol product. I thought I would try a lighter more moisturing product and this was a great price. It felt great going on and my skin did feel soft. Frankly, I will stick with the more powerful product and just use this nights when I think my skin needs a break. But this is much more gentle on the skin and if you don't need an extremely strong formula it is ideal. I would have given this 4 stars since it just isn't strong enough for me; but, gave 5 to offset negative reviews that don't reflect the quality of the product. Yes, the four ounce option is sent in a larger approx. six ounce bottle but I received the promised four ounces. And unlike many skin care products the bottle wasn't deceptively weighted to make you think it contains more than it does (see olay microsculpting cream, neutragena rapid repair line, etc) As far as redness, flaking- well, duh. If you don't have some of this when you begin using retinol, it's probably not working. Retinol works partially by exfoliating surface layers. The stronger it is the deeper and faster it works and the more redness you will see. For me at least this disappeared completely after a time. Since this product is not terribly strong and contains many soothing agents, it should be a good choice for most people just beginningto use retinol.
UPDATE: I should note that my original review was for the 4 oz product without "copper and peptides" which was the only option available at the time. When I went to reorder, I accidently selected the 1 oz with copper and peptides. I don't like it at all. First of all, in my opinion both the original and new versions are mislabeled as a cream. The original is a lotion as you can probably guess by the fact that it comes in a pump bottle. This new version appeared to be a "serum"- very thin and watery with no moisturizing. I eventually realized that it had separated and while it was thin and watery on top, on the botttom there was thick gunk. Since shaking hadn't helped the product recombine, I poured into the old container and stirred. This helped some but it was still nothing like the feel of the original. And it wasn't moisturising at all. Worst of all, I've been using for a couple of days and my skin doesn't look nearly as nice. I hope someone can benefit from my $30 mistake. Stick to the original (and less expensive) product.
